Unity For Foundation was founded, and is currently funded by, a group of concerned, caring individuals who are united by a common goal to enhance the prospects for peace through an improved spiritual and physical quality of life for everyone living on our planet (click here to read management bios).
We intend to achieve our mission by creating a global media and giving campaign that is economically viable, financially sustainable and fully accountable via a continuing series of high profile concert events and post-event philanthropy that features the highest degree of financial transparency and accountability ever achieved by a major benefit concert series. Unity has been conceived to enable “we the people” to be pro-active in making our voices heard and our actions felt in ways that help to solve the world's current major challenges.
We have initiated our campaign with a series of benefit concerts across the U.S. and Europe, leading to our first annual multi-country concert to be held in the Middle East. To kick-off our national campaign, we have held our first event on March 12th at the Los Angeles House of Blues starring an eclectic gathering of International Artists to support our first cause: Peace in the Middle East.

In support of peace:
goals and objectives
|
To expand our endeavors and our action to everyone in every community who seeks to have an impact on achieving global peace through UNITY.
To provide the network and support environment that enables every person to have their voice valued and integrated into the process of setting the peace agenda.
To provide the mechanism through which each person will be able to express their interests, desires, needs and values so that they have a real and useful voice in bringing peace to our planet.
To provide the rationale, justification and the transparent methods for independent verification of how contributions will be used, the benefits derived thereby, and the resulting outcomes.
To work with and cooperatively support other compatible community-based and ethically-directed nonprofit organizations – particularly those on the ground - who share similar missions, objectives and outcomes, and who recognize the need to be held to a set of high ethical standards and to be functionally accountable therein.
To design, build and implement a web and mobile user base capability that will meet the goals and objectives described above for the hundreds of millions of people who become part of this UNITY.

|
Unity For Foundation’s (unity) mission is to emerge as a trusted concert-funded, ethically directed "community philanthropy" dedicated to generating quantifiably positive impact upon the world’s greatest challenges.
We are building this global community by producing concerts and building an ‘open source’ web- and mobile-based marketing, fundraising and promotional social network that will allow us to link with existing populations of like-minded individuals while inserting financial accountability into all transactions.
Our goal is to enable "we the people" to realize quantifiable impact on the social problems that our expanding communities so choose to address by focusing the immense intellectual power, media impact and financial resources we represent in a 100% financially transparent manner.
Our First Globally Broadcast Peace Concert:
1. Be the first globally broadcast music event staged in the Middle East that brings together the region’s religions, religious and political leaders, and most importantly, the peace-desiring masses with their favorite global and local musicians; build to this globally broadcast event, including smaller regional concerts.
2. Stage the event at a location accessible to all.
3. Do so in a single cross-culturally rich festival setting that immerses all local and global visitors within a unified vision of achieving peace.
4. Raise significant capital for exponentially expanding on-the-ground peace activities including, but not limited to, cross cultural exchanges for the promotion of dialogue and understanding, education and scholarships, economic assistance etc. and reinforcing media messaging.
5. Prove that an investment in peace can truly make a difference.

Live Aid, with over 400 million viewers in 60 countries, raised $253 million.
Live Earth had 2 billion viewers with stages on 7 continents.
While large-scale benefit causes have nearly always been noble in their original intent, they have been widely criticized for lack of a clear post-event finance strategy, an ongoing post-event giving platform and, particularly, sufficient financial transparency to completely fulfill the needs and expectations of the masses, global donors and participating celebrities. We have birthed Unity to address these gaps, reenergize donors and their faith philanthropy and eliminate 'giving fatigue'.

The Unity For Foundation was born of multiple commitments:
Maximize the amount of capital we are able to raise for any particular cause.
Maximize the quantifiably and sustainably positive impact for all such funds received to the benefit of targeted population or challenges for as long a period as possible post our concerts
Maximize the degree of media attention we are able to deliver to natural and manmade challenges, and the degree of compassion and support we are able to deliver to the victims of those challenges
Do all the above with an eye towards maximizing realized ROI for our donors small and large, and most uniquely
Do all the above with our most earnest efforts at full transparency both with respect to the expense of our productions, and with the deployment of funds both autonomously and via third parties willing to share this same commitment to transparency.
While we are early in our existence and thus don't yet have the aggregated resources to produce fundraising activities of the scale required to raise millions to hundreds of millions of dollars yet, we are aggressively preparing for the day when we will.

While unityfor.org is a multi-causal platform and shall be deployed in service to many causes its very first major cause is Middle East Peace and is committed to ongoing action until a measureable ROI/impact is achieved.
Accordingly, we are in the process of identifying, conducting due diligence upon, and negotiating with a variety of ‘on the ground’ non profits in Israel, the territories and Jordan that it believes will honor our commitments to the realization of quantifiable impact while also agreeing to match our own 100% commitment to public financial transparency.
Each of the non-profits we are reviewing address one or several of the following categories of activity that we have determined will lead to the greatest potential for a “Peace ROI” for our donors and ourselves:
• Cultural and education exchanges
• Peace education
• Media education and messaging
We will begin to list these non-profits as we sign agreements well prior to the first mega concerts.
Middle East Non-profits that we are already affiliated with, running or funding include:
• PeoplesPeaceFund.org
• Abrahamsvision.org
• EastWestJordan.com
Exclusive of:
• Minimal ongoing operations funding estimated at well less than 10% of our anticipated raise
• A banking of sufficient seed funds to produce our next mega concert (sub $1m)
• An initial investment in building our fundraising and social media platform (sub $500k),
We anticipate that all additional funds raised shall be dedicated to ongoing investments in the above categories as long as we are focused on Middle East Peace – with all expense detailed publicly per our explicit commitment to financial transparency.
