The Unity For Peace Concert will communicate models for what Peaceful co-existence and shared quality of life can be for the struggling Middle East populations across the regions; money raised will be deployed in service to direct aid, services and economic empowerment.
The Unity For Peace concert would be an internationally broadcast event in the likes of LiveAid, Live8, and LiveEarth. This will include performances of well-known artists and speeches by distinguished Peace leaders, and particularly, by experts that can communicate easy-to-grasp models of Peaceful coexistence and abundance for delivery to today's challenged population. Our intention is to have at least one major concert at the intersection of Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Israel, and possibly more - in coordination with each other, on the same date.
Our mission is to leverage the power of entertainment, global media, and telecommunications technologies – plus our significant global relationships- to shed further light on, and aid addressing, the social and economic challenges unfolding of the current "Middle East Spring", and most importantly, communicate models for bringing the unfolding conflicts to a Peaceful and shared harmony that benefits all parties.
The concept for the "Unity for Peace" concert - and the Unity For Foundation itself - is the creation of a group of American, Arab, Jewish, Chinese and other friends from across the planet who came together via Skype to make the world a better place. Thanks for joining us. |
